Splinterlands is a digital trading card game that is built on blockchain technology. Combining the true ownership of traditional paper card games with the convenience of online gaming, our play-to-earn game model allows our community members to earn Crypto while they play, and make a difference for their futures. Our players run the gamut from 3rd world citizens who are able to feed their families out of their Splinterlands rewards, to dedicated long-timers who have literally made millions through the game, to stressed out parents who find an opportunity to rest and recharge here. There are many ways that our community interacts with and finds value in our game, including traditional game play; buying, selling and renting cards for profit and pleasure; participating with friends in guilds, tournaments and brawls; and diving deeply into the complicated layers of strategy needed in order to master the game. The financial liberty that our community members have gives them, their families and their communities valuable opportunities, and the commrodership that develops here improves peoples lives. What You'll Be Doing

• Leading partnership conversations from outreach to partnership launch

• Identify key partnerships and construct roadmaps and strategic plans in order to grow Splinterlands’ marketing efforts

• Own and nurture marketing relationships with partners, balancing partner onboarding and ongoing opportunities.

• Develop strategies and marketing plans to partner with key organizations in order to expand Splinterlands’ community and reach.

• Consult and approve partner creative, messaging, and promotional plans.

• Develop and maintain campaign documentation including campaign overviews, internal calendars and status documents for cross functional reference.

• Develop the cross-functional relationship and ways of working with the Marketing team to execute against key partnerships with outside organizations

• Monitor campaign performance, analyze results, recommend optimizations, and create regular internal and partner-facing reports.

• Use a data-first approach to improve campaigns against our goals, improve profitability, drive results, and identify new opportunities for growth.

• Organize community events both digitally and in person to drive engagement with Splinterlands user base.

• Document and share event results with the community in an easily consumable format.

• Identify, organize and plan tradeshows, comic cons, etc for the Splinterlands team to attend.

• Measure and report against the success of key events.

Who We Are Looking For

• You are excited about video games or card games and have had experience playing them yourself.

• You care about the welfare of others and want to help grow a game that is looking to empower a community.

• You are an amazing marketer AND aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves.

• You are ready to manage multiple partnerships and events at one time, with the support of the Marketing team (you can manage 10+ campaigns and promotions at the same time).

• You can create strategies and plans based on consumer insights; analyze results, and create newsworthy campaigns, while also managing the execution of said campaigns yourself.

• You can collaborate with team members within the company.

• You can foster relationships with partners.

• You have knowledge of the US market.

• You have knowledge of blockchain operations and cryptocurrencies.

• You have 5+ years experience as a marketer dealing with external communications.
