UI Lead

As a UI Lead, you will report to the UX Director and oversee the overall realization of Creative, UX, and Technical vision into visual interface. In addition to working with your direct reports spanning UI Designers and UI Artists, this will include collaborating with the Creative Director, UX Director, Product Managers, Game Designers, Art Director, and Developers to prototype, test, and guide the entire UI design process from start to finish on one and eventually multiple projects simultaneously.

You should have a high level of experience with Game UI specifically, solving front-end challenges, optimizing funnels, and improving engagement. You should also have leadership and management experience to lead the UI Team. You should be capable of taking layered and complex blockchain-related functionality and streamlining the front-end into an accessible and user-friendly experience. You should be analytical, passionate, and creative. You should be an EXCELLENT communicator– verbally, textually, and visually.

Things You’ll Do:

  • Be the point person for presentations of high-level UI conceptualization
  • Oversee your UI Team and their research and developments
  • Reporting to the UX Director and working within the UX Department
  • Lead and organize Wireframing + Prototyping
  • Identify Pain Points
  • Formulate Improvement / Solutions
  • Design, Document, and Guide the implementation of new layouts, features, and functions
  • Optimize solutions for different devices, platforms, and screen sizes
  • Champion a User-Centered system with a Positive, Collaborative, and Passionate attitude

Things You Need:

  • At least 4 years UI experience, triple-A games industry experience preferred
  • Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio
  • At Least 1 year of professional UI project management experience
  • Proficiency with Adobe XD and Adobe Photoshop
  • Multi-platform / dynamic layout design experience
  • High level of understanding of creative design best practices
  • High level of understanding of development processes
  • High level understanding of mobile-first design principles
